Dream escape: golfing near the beach

Last week was hubby's company "summer" outing. Employees were given a choice between two sports, golf and wind surfing. Hubby chose the first. And he liked it although he came home with blisters on his thumb. I haven't tried golfing yet but while he was telling of how enjoyable it was, I was dreaming of a dream escape to a beautiful beach. It has been almost two years since I last frolicked in blue waters and under warm sunshine. And then hubby can do his golfing while I basked under the sun. One place that suits our requirements is the Myrtle Beach hotel in South Carolina.

And of course, being the "wise" travelers that we always are, I will probably looking for deals and discounts. Incidentally there are  Myrtle Beach vacation deals for people like myself who are looking for a great getaway in South Carolina. If golfing is not your thing and your concerned about too much sun exposure, then indoor water facilities can also be enjoyed in this part of town.

We haven't decided on any golfing vacation yet but just the thought of staying in the beach side appeals so enticing right now when the Dutch autumn is settling in and we all know that we are expecting two cold seasons. If you are planning the same vacation, you can check out  http://www.grandeshores.com and let me know how it went.
