New Love: Francois Sagan

Was watching Criminal Minds tonight and I heard of this quote from French author Francois Sagan:Justify Full

"I have loved to the point of madness; that which is called madness, that which to me, is the only sensible way to love."

and more of them online...

I like men to behave like men. I like them strong and childish.

Only by pursuing the extremes in one's nature, with all its contradictions, appetites, aversions, rages, can one hope to understand a little ... oh, I admit only a very little ... of what life is about.

To jealousy, nothing is more frightful than laughter.

I have loved to the point of madness; that which is called madness, that which to me, is the only sensible way to love.

Love lasts about seven years. That's how long it takes for the cells of the body to totally replace themselves.

and probably my favorite

When asked if she believed in love: "Are you joking? I believe in passion. Nothing else. Two years, no more. All right, then: three.”

Now if only somebody can tell me where to find her books, plays, novels and short stories, I'd love you for life (refer to the last quote). I think Ive found somebody who I would love more than Edgar Allan Poe, and a woman! I really love the French authors, they seemed to know a lot about love. Move over, Gabo!
