US, Women!

I thought my story is unique and I am longing to tell them to the world. Probably I won't be brave to write it on a first person narration and dispel it as "purely fiction with no reference to anybody living or dead" like how she wrote it.

I am reading the story I wanted to write...in the elaborate story telling of Marilyn French with the best selling and quite controversial feminist book The Women's Room. Im still in chapter two and won't be done till next week because of my busy schedule. But her story is the story of us women, or at least the story of how women would want to be, ever free, ever dependent and very strong.

Have you ever heard or read about the women's room? If so, you know Mira and her eccentricities. I like her and I think like her, although I don't have her fears. Maybe because we grew up in different decades but she has questions that I also have. Unfortunately, to be able to fully answer those questions, I'd have to thread the lonely and complicated path that she is currently taking.

Or have I been there already and probably reading her backwards?

I am doing a lot of thinking lately. Blame it to the books or the future. I do not want to look back or beyond...the past is beautiful but is gone forever, the future is a scary dream.

Then again, it might just be my age.....Who knows, when Im old enough or mature enough, I might able to overcome.
